Zaranell There's an almost ephemeral quality to this EP that I find hard to describe, and yet it sets it apart from the hundreds of other synth releases I've heard. Maybe it's the fact that each track almost sounds like a damn good cover of a song from a fictional 16-bit video game, but regardless, every time I hear the last few notes of Dark Star I find myself wishing there were more. If you're looking for interesting up-and-coming synthwave artists, Rale Daver should absolutely be on your watch list. Favorite track: Big Trouble.
